Effective Improved NSGA-II Algorithm for Multi-Objective Integrated Process Planning and Scheduling

Integrated process planning and scheduling (IPPS) is important for modern manufacturing companies to achieve efficiency improve resource utilization. Meanwhile, multiple objectives need be considered in the realistic decision-making systems. Based on above system requirements, it becomes increasingly develop effective methods deal with multi-objective IPPS problems. Therefore, an improved NSGA-II (INSGA-II) algorithm proposed this research, which uses fast non-dominated ranking method optimization as assignment scheme fitness. A multi-layer integrated coding adopted address characteristics of model, involves many parameters interactions. Elite mutation strategies are employed during evolutionary enhance population diversity quality solutions. An external archive also used store update Pareto solution. The experimental results Kim test set demonstrate effectiveness INSGA-II algorithm.
